Dear Philiswa, I apologise that you were not satisfied with your stay at the Lodge. However, the Lodge is situated in a very rural part of the country. We try our best to provide a stable service and have invested in several boosters to keep the network running. However, Port St Johns had an electricity outage for 2 weeks early this December which affected the tower that supplies us with the network. It was completely out of our hands and we had to wait for a transformer to come in from Nelspruit. The generator is therefore controlled as it does not make sense to run it throughout the night as it costs a lot to run and it is also noisy. The staff were very helpful and professional and went the extra mile for us. The food was amazing and done to perfection. Excellent location. Food was from top shelf. Staff amazing. Definitely a place to visit for any occasion.
