Next time we will stay longer. We traveled from Windhoek to Springbok to see the flowers - our time in and around Springbok was limited and I was specifically looking for a place where we would be 'off the grid' for one night. This little place was perfect and the biggest treat for me and my husband. The view, space, silence and absolute peace we experienced there was truly spoiled. Marita was very friendly and we felt very welcome from the first time I got a message from her. We are convinced that places like Namakwa Hide Away will become more and more popular for those of us who want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Next time we will rest longer!

Special place to bring you from the everyday rush to calmness. The hostess warmly welcomes you with genuine Namaqualand hospitality. The house is recently built and is built approximately 4 km from the main house. Appearance is rustic and very appropriate to the mountainous environment. Good linen and bed and hot shower is a luxury in the middle of nowhere. Very private, safe and exceptionally quiet, with incredible stars at night. Kitchen well equipped with delicious indoor grill and wood is provided. Solar and no mains catchment ensure you a quiet and peaceful getaway. There are also nice hiking options. I will go back for sure but stay 2 nights for sure. If you like silence and nature, this is the ideal getaway/stay house. Simplistic but convenient.

Quiet among the stone ridges. New gem that appeared. If you prefer silence and want to look at the stars, this is definitely the place to do it. Beautiful, neat place.
