Description
Ndawana River Lodge offers self-catering accommodation, and is located on a tranquil farm situated in the Southern Drakensberg. The farm borders the uKhahlamba-Drakensberg Park; a declared World Heritage Site.
This fully furnished farmhouse comprises 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The main bedroom is equipped with a queen-size bed, and features an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower. The second, third, and fourth rooms each have twin beds. These 3 rooms share the second bathroom fitted with a bath. Wall heaters are fitted in each room and fans are available for the summer heat.
The well-equipped kitchen contains a gas hob and electric oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, a fridge-freezer, pans and serving dishes, crockery, cutlery, drinking and wine glasses. Basic washing up and cleaning materials are supplied. The open-plan living area boasts a wood-burning fireplace, and leads out to the deck, which has a large kettle braai facility and a braai area to use.
The deck also features an outdoor 8-seater dining table that overlooks the river and valley. One lock-up garage and 2 cloth-covered bays are available for 3 cars to park in and under. The garden is fenced and is suitable for well-behaved pets to play in.
