Nestled at the foot of Table Mountain in the suburb of Vredehoek, Nes the Afrikaans word for “nest” offers guests modern self-catering accommodation in a quiet and leafy street. Nes is a Cape Town heritage house built in 1932 and has been renovated to give it a modern and luxurious feel.
The multi-storey house offers guests 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, lounge, braai and jacuzzi area as well as a sun deck with views.
The upper-storey bedroom, accessible only from the outside steps, is furnished with an extra-length queen-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom with a shower and luxurious bathrobes for guests to use. The room opens onto a lovely sundeck overlooking Signal Hill and Table Mountain. The downstairs bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, a TV and bathrobes. The bathroom has a bath and is fitted with a washer-dryer combo. A modern child-only sleeper couch is available in the living area.
The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric stove and oven, a dishwasher, fridge, microwave, tea and coffee-making facilities, and there is a dining area.
Outside guests will find the Jacuzzi next to the braai and patio.
