Description
Nonsuch Cottage, named so as there is "none such a place in the world", overlooks Onrus beach and borders on the Onrus lagoon. The property has been in the hosts family for almost 100 years.
The cottage can accommodate up to 10 people and comprises 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, one bathroom being en-suite, and an open-plan kitchen and living area. The main bedroom contains a king-size bed. The other 4 bedrooms have single beds. The first bathroom is fitted with a bath, while the other 2 bathrooms have showers. There is also an outdoor showing with hot water. All bedding and towels are provided.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and contains a gas hob, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, bar fridge and cutlery and crockery. There is also a breakfast bar with stools. The dining area has seating space for 8 people, while the lounge has a comfy lounge suite, fireplace, and a wall-mounted flat-screen TV with selected DStv channels. Free Wi-Fi access is also provided.
The living area opens up onto a shaded patio area on one side which has a patio set and braai facilities; and onto a balcony on the other side which has an outdoor seating area with beautiful views towards the ocean. The cottage has an inverter to help with lights, TV and Wi-Fi during loadshedding.
The property boarders on the Onrus Lagoon and is linked with a pedestrian gate. There is a lovely Milkwood forest garden and a firepit for chilly evenings. Wood is not provided. Nonsuch is only a two minute walk along the road to Onrus Beach, and the coastal walking path.
