Description
Ntamba Safari Lodge offers self-catering accommodation, and is situated in the Black Rhino Game Reserve. This reserve forms part of the 55 000-hectare Pilanesberg National Park, which is also home to the Big 5.
Essentially this is like renting a luxury holiday villa in a private game reserve, with daily housekeeping and game drives included. The layout is unique as it encompasses freestanding suites as well as a central main living space with kitchen, bar, tv lounge, outdoor dining space, boma, private viewing deck and small swimming pool.
This exclusive lodge is ideal for discerning guests looking for a comfortable bush breakaway. The lodge was named Ntamba, meaning ‘rock’ in the Xitsonga language, after the spectacular red syenite outcrops visible on the surrounding mountains. This family-friendly lodge can accommodate 10 guests and comprises three free-standing suites and one unit with two interleading suites (that can form a family suite); a main living area and an open-plan kitchen.
Each luxury bedroom suite is spacious and is furnished with a king-size bed that can be converted into twin beds fitted with Egyptian sheets and electric blankets, and features an en-suite bathroom fitted with a free-standing bath, a double shower, double basins, with access to a private outdoor shower. In addition, each bedroom suite contains air-conditioning, a desk, international plugs and USB ports, tea- and coffee-making facilities and a Nespresso coffee machine, a safe to store valuables, and a private deck.
In the main building, the fully equipped kitchen contains the necessary appliances, utensils, crockery and cutlery to prepare and cook meals, including a separate scullery area. The adjacent open-plan living area also has a TV lounge, and leads out to the spacious, covered entertainment area, which boasts a large outdoor dining table, patio furniture, a boma with a braai area and a firepit.
Two game drives per day are included in your rate. Game drives are included in your stay and conducted with a professional guide in a private 4x4 safari vehicle, in the exclusive Black Rhino Game Reserve and the Pilanesberg National Park.
The reserve is also ideally situated approximately 33 km from Sun City Resort, 40 km from Pilanesberg International Airport, and 164 km from Lanseria International Airport.
