Enjoy the peace and tranquility of the country when you visit Nxala Ranch, situated on a working farm. It is nestled in the sweep of the Biggarsberg Mountain, some 45 kilometres from Dundee in KwaZulu-Natal. The thatch-roofed lodge is set amidst willow and paperbark thorn trees and offers a beautiful view across the plains abounding in game and bird life.
Accommodation comprises 4 stylish bedrooms, 3 of which have en-suite bathrooms whilst the fourth has a private bathroom.
Each room features tea- and coffee-making facilities. The living room is equipped with satellite TV and a music system. The main feature is the spacious veranda with braai area where meals can be taken in beautiful surroundings, or whilst watching weaver birds at work. Guests can also try to spot the resident leguan in the dam adjoining the lodge.
Nxala Ranch offers game viewing, San rock art, hiking, bass fishing and the opportunity to view stud cattle. It is the ideal half-way stop between St. Lucia/Hluhluwe and the Drakensberg. It is also central to the Battlefields of Isandlwana, Rorke's Drift and Blood River.
