Idyllic weekend break, great value for money. Will definitely visit Ocean Spirit. Ocean Spirit is a lovely house in a peaceful area, just what we were looking for a relaxing getaway weekend. The house is larger than we were expecting, the pool was a welcome cool-off place in the heat of the day! The weekend special made it all the more worthwhile!

Great house and location. Great stay, cleanliness needs to be addressed, house very dusty and tabletops dirty. The pool was also very dirty; it's a pity because we booked the place for the pool and ended up not swimming. Gas also finished while I was using the braai, but I suppose you wouldn't know when that finishes.

Dear Stuart I am very sorry this was your experience. We have a pool service weekly, but if it was very windy, some debris could have gone into the pool. If you had called me, we could have addressed this as the man who cleans the pool lives around the corner. We also dusted the house a few days before your arrival, and I am surprised you did not contact me when the gas in the braai finished. All these problems could have been addressed immediately if you had just contacted me. Once again, we apologise and assure you of our assistance at any time if we had only known your grievances. This is certainly not the standard we uphold for our guests.

We got much more than we expected. The place was three times bigger than we thought, and it was an absolute bargain (we paid R2600 per night). We booked late and there were no reviews, so we were incredibly surprised when we saw how beautiful the place is, with a view of the sea, beautiful facilities and loads of space.
