Dorschfontein Guest Farm Old Farmhouse offers self-catering accommodation in a cosy home situated on Dorschfontein Guest Farm which is located approximately 36 km from Steytlerville in the Sarah Baartman District.
This property can accommodate a total of 6 guests at a time and comprises 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. There are 2 bedrooms that are each furnished with a double bed, while the third bedroom contains 2 single beds. A shower, washbasin and toilet are available in the bathroom. All linen and bath towels are provided.
The living area features a kitchen equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, cutlery and crockery as well as a coffee machine. Leading from the kitchen is a dining table with 8 chairs for guests to enjoy their meals together. There is plenty of board games for entertainment.
Outside, there is a lovely patio with braai facilities which is a great spot for a sundowner while overlooking the surrounding farm. The garden has a lovely picnic spot under a large tree. Access to Wi-Fi is available at the main house on the farm.
On-site activities include game drives, mule cart rides, 4x4 trails, mountain biking, star gazing, bird watching, horse riding, hiking and mountain climbing with bushmen rock art. Guests can also participate in the daily farm activities and children can help feed the farm animals.
