Oppie-Strand offers comfortable self-catering accommodation in a lovely duplex home, situated right on the beach in Still Bay West. Guests can step out from the front door onto the sand, and enjoy stunning sea and beach views from this tastefully furnished 4-bedroom home.
The duplex comprises 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Upstairs is the main bedroom with a double bed with stack doors opening onto a balcony, with a clear panoramic view of the ocean and harbour. Also upstairs is the second bedroom with a double bed. The upstairs bathroom is fitted with a bath, basin and toilet. The third and fourth bedrooms are situated downstairs, one with 2 single beds and the other with a three-quarter bed. Both bedrooms have sliding doors leading to the outside lawn area. The downstairs bathroom is fitted with a shower and basin. There is also a separate guest toilet located downstairs. Please note that our premises have steep internal stairs, which may pose a challenge for individuals with mobility issues. We can sleep 7 but the house is more comfortable for a smaller group.
The accommodation comprises an open-plan lounge with a mini kitchen, and stacked doors opening onto the beach. The mini kitchen is equipped with a fridge, dishwasher and Nespresso machine. There is also a main kitchen with a Smeg oven and stove, microwave and washing machine.
Additional features include the lawn area with portable braai facilities and outdoor table and chairs, an enclosed hot outside shower with a sea view, and Wi-Fi.
Enjoy the fresh ocean air in a beach house ideal for family and friends, and the perfect hideaway from city life. The clean sandy beaches and inviting water makes Still Bay ideal for water sports.
Still Bay Harbour is located down the road, and offers a harbour restaurant. Popular surf spots are the beach break right in front of the house and nearby Morris Point and Jongensfontein. Activities include deep-sea fishing or fishing off the rocks, or visiting the 2 nature reserves in the area for coastal walks or snorkelling in the clear pools.
