Description
Oribi Cottage is a thatched roof self-catering house located in the Marloth Park Conservancy, bordering the renowned Kruger National Park. Guests can enjoy the sight of free-roaming wildlife including kudu, zebra, giraffe, impala and warthog that wander among the houses. Marloth Park is also a birders paradise.
Oribi Cottage can accommodate up to a maximum of 4 persons. It comprises 2 bedrooms, a loft upstairs, 1 bathroom, and an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area. The first bedroom has a double bed and second bedroom contains 2 single beds. Loft upstairs and outside balcony, ideal for game spotting. Each bedroom contains a ceiling fan or a standing fan. Aircon in the lounge. No TV.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and includes a gas stove, a fridge-freezer, a kettle, microwave, and cutlery and crockery. There is a wooden 6-seater dining table and chairs. Outside, you will find a lovely patio and braai area, with a splash pool to cool down on those hot days.
Marloth Park also offers the basic commodities such as 2 shops, a variety of restaurants, a hardware store, a curio shop, and a liquor store. Information can be supplied regarding nearby places and contact details of tour guides if you want to enjoy a Safar trip into Kruger.
Please bring own towels, braai wood, drinking water and mosquito repellent.
