Wonderful. Minimalistic, relaxing and fun. We visited the accommodation with two young children, aged 9 and 11. The accommodation is right on the water with amazing views. The kids loved swimming in the creek and the swing over the water. The canoeing to the beach was amazing. The host always responded to any inquiries. The fireplace at night was great for family time and atmosphere. We will be going back in the future.

Exquisite location and very attentive owner available. We had a wonderful time at Otters Creek and spotted an owl while canoeing down the river! It's a beautiful short walk or paddle to the beach; our child loved splashing in the estuary. Extraordinary location. We brought two small dogs. Owner was staying in house next door and came over daily to ask if there was anything we needed. Very attentive.

Welcoming and comfortable. Our hosts went out of their way to make us feel at home, shared information about our environment and shared additional equipment for our 70th birthday party. Thank you.

Tranquil and picturesque. We loved staying at Otter Creek and will go back many times. The accommodation provided for most of our needs. There were enough plugs, the Wi-Fi was great, they had cleaning products, and my personal favourite, their knives were sharp! All these contributed to a great stay. Only suggest would be that the outdoor shower needs some work and that the loft can be very noisy for those downstairs.

Fantastic location, friendly and accommodating hosts. Perfect spot for canoeing down the river to the beach or walking (+- 15 min). You can swim in the river the water is warm and clean. The accommodation is clean and you will have everything you need, braai, fire place, outside shower, inside bath, fridges etc. Just take your own duvet covers, pillow cases and towels.

Peaceful and relaxing family weekend away. The house is ideally situated away from the main Pringle Bay residential area which means it is very quiet. The Richardson's are very helpful and accommodating. The accommodation is suitable for two families - one family downstairs (double room and twin room) and another family upstairs in the open loft area (double bed and two single beds with plenty of space for additional mattresses). The living area and kitchen are compact, but most of the time is spent outdoors. There is a lovely firepit for braais and potjies. The canoes are great fun, the walk to the beach is beautiful and there is plenty of space to walk and contemplate how blessed we are to live in such a beautiful world. Recommended as a destination.
