Annelie invite you to spend some quality time at her owner-managed guesthouse. Oue Werf, circa 1857, is on a working farm in the peaceful Schoemanshoek Valley in the Western Cape, 12 km from Oudtshoorn and 15 km from the Cango Caves.
Enjoy one of our 8 luxury double or twin bedded rooms, furnished with antiques, some rooms still with original reed ceilings. All rooms have private entrances and are set apart from the main house. Offers TV, bar fridge and tea tray and have private entrances to beautiful gardens, rich with bird life. Other features include Wi-Fi, parking, laundry facilities and children welcome.
Here it is all about relaxation; in summer you can enjoy a refreshing drink or a light lunch alongside the swimming pool and during winter cuddle up under a blanket in front of the fireplace in the lounge, reading a book and enjoying a glass of sherry.
Soft candle light dinners are served in our stylish, antique dining room, with its high beamed ceiling and terracotta floor. This cozy facility was created for you to enjoy a superb home-cooked country dinner - on request. A hearty farm breakfast is served either on the patio overlooking the picturesque mountain scenes or in the dining room.
Beautiful nature scenes, spectacular mountain views, indigenous bird species and the sweet fragrance of delicate roses blooming in abundance around you.
Children can enjoy the playground, crossing the dam with the raft and just the farm with friendly dogs.
