Oupad se Kloof is a charming self-catering cottage situated on the Matjiesvlei Guest Farm, offering an authentic Karoo stay dating back to the 1800s imbued with family history documented by the current owner. This is the ideal choice for guests who wish to break away from city life through a humble and nostalgic experience
This unit can accommodate 4 guests and comprises 1 bedroom tastefully furnished with a double bed and a single bed. There is also a single bed in the lounge. The bathroom is fitted with a shower, basin, and toilet. Linen and towels are provided.
The unit has an open-plan kitchenette equipped with a fridge-freezer, 2-plate stove, microwave, basic cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The lounge is furnished with comfy couches and features a cosy fireplace.
The cottage opens up to a private patio with outdoor seating and braai facilities.
For an immersive experience with nature, the Damrivierkamp is situated on the picturesque shores of the Gamka River. It's an angler's paradise, offering a wide variety of fish species, including yellowfish, black bass, eel, and carp. There are also fantastic waterholes perfect for swimming and rowing. Guests can also experience the Bôjaankop 4x4 route which takes you to the top of Bôjaankop, from where you can enjoy stunning views of the Little Karoo.
