The Prawn Hatchery is located in Ongoye, KwaZulu Natal, and is situated on an old prawn breeding farm on a lagoon, overlooking a deserted beach and nature reserve. It is a perfect getaway for those seeking a vacation away from the city life.

Maximum of 4 cars, total of 16 people
Make use of No1 ablutions, about 100m away.
There is a communal wood fired hot tub
You need to bring all your camping and cooking equipment etc.
There is a braai available.
Plug points is available and a water tap.
Good to bring your own lights as well as extension cord.
Please note that you might share this space with other guests as there is space for 16 people to camp.
Child rate is applicable for 2-12 years, 13 years and above will be charged at adult rate.

Activities available to guests on the property include fly-fishing, line-cast fishing, bird watching, hiking and mountain biking. The accommodation also has additional units on the premises.
