Oyster Kaya @ Oyster Bay offers self-catering accommodation in Oyster Bay, a quiet, peaceful town on the edge of the Tsitsikamma coast with vast stretches of beach, which gives a feeling of complete relaxation. The town is a firm favourite with people enjoying the peace. Oyster Kaya is ideal for bird watching, fishing and walking.
There are 4 self-catering apartments available, catering for 4 to 6 people in 2 or 3 bedroom units. Braai facilities are also available. The units are serviced daily except for Sundays and Public Holidays. Bedding and towels are supplied, but please bring your beach towels. The main beach is only 5 minutes walk away.
Amenities on the premises include a pool table, pool, function venue and laundry facilities. Fat bikes and sandboards are available for hire.
Oyster Bay is a small, peaceful little coastal hamlet 22 km west of St Francis Bay on the Eastern Coast of South Africa, bordering the edge of the Tsitsikamma Coast. Days can be spent relaxing on the 8 km pristine sandy beach. Expect no crowds. All roads leading to Oyster Bay are gravel roads, and vehicle with higher ground clearance is recommended.
The accommodation is also powered by solar power and is not affected by load shedding.
Oyster Bay is known for its sunsets, brisk ocean air and ethereal appearance, making you feel rejuvenated. Oyster Kaya offers comfortable accommodation for the holidaymaker and even the businessman. Oyster Bay is 110 km west of Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth). There are various day hikes available in the area.
