Description
Paardekloof Plaas offers self-catering accommodation on a working sheep farm in Barandas, which is 30 km from Uniondale, 60 km from Willowmore and 54 km from De Rust. It is easily accessible from the R341 between Willowmore and Oudtshoorn. The gravel roads of about 2 km are kept in a good condition and is accessible to all vehicles. The farm is the ideal escape for guests in need of relaxation, as there is no TV.
This exceptional old farmhouse has been restored to offer people a Karoo experience. The house is rented as a whole. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, the second bedroom has a double bed and the third bedroom comprises 2 single beds. The bathroom is fitted with a shower, basin and toilet.
The kitchen is equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, fridge, dining table and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The lounge has sufficient seating as well as a piano. There is a large patio with braai facilities available.
Firewood is provided for the first night. Please note the units are non-smoking, and pets are unfortunately not allowed.
There are lucerne, bales and sheep on the farm, as well as various activities such as walking and cycling. There is also a lot of space for children to run and play. The nearest town with a fuel station is 32 km from the farm, so guests need to fill up there.
