Safe getaway vacation. A very well appointed house, next to the sea, ideal for a break away from the city. Very safe and an exclusive beach resort. Recommendation is to have a built-in braai built or installed.

Best holiday and rest. Excellent location. Well equipped holiday home with everything you need. The dirt road is a bit bumpy, but it gives you the opportunity to admire nature and all the dairy cows. Bring your groceries, toiletries, wine, sunblock, braai wood and medicine. Park your car and enjoy your holiday. Safe environment for walking (rocks at own risk). We were lucky to see dolphins, sea otters, forest goats, meerkat (some people call it a mouse dog/mongoose) and various birds right at the house. There is a very tame sea gull and small brown birds that came to say hello on the porch every morning. Just take your Doom with you, because flies are still a problem. Turn off lights at night and enjoy the stars if it's not foggy. If you do get tired of the tranquility, there are several activities to do within a short distance. From bungee jumping to walking in the forests. We were there during a quiet time, which was great. Eersterivier beach must be protected from tourists. It is one of the few places where nature can still be enjoyed without too many people. Franette as well as the resort management are very friendly and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful 2 weeks where we could rest and I could find my soul again.

Wonderful holiday home right on the beach. Incredible view. Very nice, new kitchen with enough fridge and freezer space. The dishwasher was a bonus. The three bathrooms were very convenient as we were there with three teenagers. The rooms are nice and spacious and the beds all have new mattresses - we slept wonderfully. Will definitely go again.
