Beautiful house with all you need for a pleasant stay. Very quiet place except for the running water of the river a couple of meters from the home which had a very calming effect on all of us. The house has a backup power system in place for loadshedding. This system is charged by power from Eskom and kicks in during loadshedding. This also brings us to the challenge we had for the 1st 2 days of our stay. Due to a disruption of the power supply from Eskom for the 1st 2 days, the battery power ran out and there was no power to charge the system which meant we did not have power for +- 1 day. One can deal with no power, but unfortunately, the water supply needs power to function, which also left us without water for a day. You can always buy water to drink, but the problem comes when you cannot flush the toilets anymore. We did consult with the agent, but no other plans could be made and we received a “sorry about that”. For the money the accommodation cost us per day, I believe a plan could have been made.

Modern, spacious, excellent, comfortable and safe! We were very impressed with the extremely spacious, modern living area and comfortable bedrooms, each with en-suite bathrooms.
