Description
Phantom Acres offers superior private, self-catering accommodation on a 3-hectare smallholding in Rheenendal, Knysna. Located just 6,5 km off the N2, it provides easy access to town and to Knysna’s main beaches, making it ideal for those exploring the Garden Route.
The double storey can comfortably accommodate 10 adults with one additional room-sharing child bed available, plus a baby on request in 5 spacious bedrooms. The four bedrooms inside the main house all offer aircon and heaters. The fifth bedroom is detached and has a ceiling fan and heater. The main bedroom has a king-size bed, and an open-plan bathroom with bath, shower, vanity basin, and toilet and bidet - which walks out onto a shared balcony. The second bedroom has a king-size bed, while the third and fourth bedrooms offer double beds. They share a bathroom with a bath, shower, 3 basins. and toilet with a bidet and urinal. The fifth bedroom is a separate unit, ideal to share with a child, or for teenagers or additional family who require a little privacy. It has a queen-size bed, plus a single bed, and an in-bedroom toilet and shower. All 5 bedrooms are spacious enough to easily accommodate a camp cot or crib which is available on request.
The large kitchen, pantry, and washroom are equipped with a fridge-freezer, gas stove, oven, microwave, air-fryer, pressure cooker, slow cooker, and an extensive collection of cutlery, crockery, and cooking/baking devices. The entertainment areas include a dining room, large living room, toy room, and an in-house braai room with a stainless steel wood fire braai, which leads to a huge lapa with a second dining table, billiard table, gas braai and fireplace, overlooking the pool.
3 Smart TVs offer Netflix, Showmax, Prime TV, Apple TV, YouTube and Spotify. Google Home systems in the living areas and bedrooms offer internet assistance and entertainment.
The enormous, fully private garden is heaven for the kids. It includes a shallow pool, jungle gym, trampoline, tree house, low zipline, and sandpit. Kids can enjoy a taste of farm life, by swimming in the clay dam and feeding the chickens, turkeys, ducks, bunnies, and alpacas. Organic eggs and herbs are freely available.
The property is powered by both Eskom and solar. Water is the most delicious, filtered rainwater - enjoyed straight from the tap. The property has Wi-Fi, is services 3 days per week, and includes linen, bath and beach towels, and firewood. There are 2 cats on the property but together with the other farm animals, require no tending to by the guests.
