Anytime again. We loved the cottage. Rustic, special, lots of character and equipped with everything, heaven on earth. The farm offers well-maintained hiking paths, a stunning swimming dam and wine tasting. What else can one wish for an enjoyable weekend?

Peaceful and rustic. Perfect for a weekend getaway. If you love nature, mountains and a rustic environment, then you will enjoy the cottage at Tierhoek. It is quite a drive from the nearest town, so rather ensure that you have everything you need. The only thing that made life slightly less comfortable was the fact that the geyser had issues and we didn't have any hot water during the day. So if you expect to have luxury showers or a bath, then think twice. Furthermore, the fireplace in the kitchen was damaged by previous guests. It was a cold weekend, and it would have been nice to use the fireplace, but we had heaters so at least we weren't cold.

A holiday for the books! A wonderful getaway from the city noise with just the frogs and wind in your ears. We had a great time and the children enjoyed the fishing, swimming in the dam, walking and farm life so much that they can't wait to go again. Harry was very hospitable and helpful. Accommodation is basic, but so right in our kraal. The boys really enjoyed the room and bathroom separate from the cottage. We hope to be able to stay here again in the future.
