Tucked away in the valley, Plaatfontein Gasteplaas is a charming self-catering cottage located approximately 43 km from Prince Albert offering an intimate escape for the whole family or a group of friends seeking rest and relaxation in tranquil surroundings.
This lovely home can accommodate 11 guests and comprises 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The first and second bedrooms are each furnished with a double bed. The third bedroom is furnished with 2 single beds and a bunk bed and the last bedroom is furnished with a single bed and a bunk bed. These bedrooms make use of 2 shared bathrooms each fitted with a shower, toilet and washbasin. Quality linen and bath towels are provided; however, guests are required to bring their own swimming towels.
The open-plan living area features a lounge, a dining area and a kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, tea- and coffee-making facilities and cutlery and crockery. The dining area is furnished with a dining table suitable for 8 guests. The lounge is furnished with comfortable seating, a coffee table and a built-in fireplace.
The living area opens onto a patio, boasting stunning views of the mountain and valley. Guests can enjoy an al fresco dining experience on the patio, socialise around the braai area, have a picnic in the garden or simply lounge on the outdoor furniture while soaking up the sun. Access to secure parking is available.
There is limited cell phone signal, and guests should note that there is no Wi-Fi.
