Plain Champagne is nestled on a picturesque 60-ha working farm located near Cathkin Park in the heart of the Central Drakensberg. This off-the-grid property is ideal for a family or group of friends seeking a tranquil retreat within easy reach of attractions and amenities in the area.
This charming thatch-roof house comprises 6 bedrooms and comfortably accommodates 12 guests at a time. Each room is furnished with 2 single beds and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower. The open-plan kitchen is well-equipped with a fridge-freezer, gas stove, oven, and microwave. A separate scullery with a dishwasher and washing machine is available just off the kitchen.
The living area features a comfy seating space as well as a TV and opens onto a lovely deck leading to an expansive lawn and boma where guests can enjoy a braai. Guests are also welcome to explore the farm on foot or by bicycle.
Guests can explore attractions such as Champagne Sports Resort, mountain hiking trails, golf courses, Drakensberg Boys Choir, and Raptor Centre. Activities to enjoy include fishing, mountain biking, canopy tours, tennis, and birdwatching.
