A special stay. We had a lovely stay at Ploegfontein! Yverne is the perfect hostess who really cares about her guests. Pity we could only stay one night but will definitely go back for a longer stay. Supper was served in our room and was a real boere treat: lamb pie, pumpkin fritters, peas, fries, and dessert.

A spacious cottage, a warm welcome, a comfortable bed - one can't ask for more! I arrived at Ploegfontein somewhat stressed and tired. I was welcomed with warmth and laughter. My cottage was spacious and well-equipped. After a short stroll along the stream and a hot shower, I felt relaxed and ready to prepare my simple supper. Best of all was the bed! Crisp sheets and pillows just right. I left Ploegfontein the following morning feeling well-rested, ready to take on the trucks on the N1! Thank you, Yverne, for a special overnight stay. I'll definitely be back.

Very relaxing and enjoyable. Yverne was such a wonderful host - she really went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed. The location is close enough to the highway that it isn't time-consuming to get back on the road but far away enough that it's quiet and you can relax. There are beautiful lawns for the kids to play on and a nice swing too. It's an ideal place for a stop-over when travelling.

Thoroughly enjoyable stay. We had a fantastic stay. Yverne is a warm and welcoming host. We instantly felt at home. She cooked us a superb lamb pie with all the trimmings for dinner. The pool and tennis court were an added bonus. We will definitely be staying again, next time for more than one night.
