Protea Wilds Retreat is conveniently situated between Knysna and Plettenberg Bay, close enough to enjoy all the activities in and around the area. The beautiful retreat offers peace and tranquillity and accommodation for all types of groups.
Accommodation comprises 1 house and 6 studio units, suited to accommodate up to 18 guests. Units can be booked individually or as a group. All units include comfortable bedding, a bathroom with a shower, a kitchenette, a small patio and a deck with seating. Stunning views from all locations. Unist all have extra blankets, heaters and fans.
The Bitou Valley House is situated on a cliff overlooking the Bitou Valley and is suited to 6 guests. There is a pool, a braai area with shaded seating and a patio. There is also a fireplace to keep it cosy in winter, and fans for summer. 3 bedrooms, a main bedroom en-suite with bath and separate toilet. The other 2 rooms share a full bathroom and separate toilet. Fully equipped kitchen, and ample parking, completely private.
The communal Fynbosskerm is located 10 - 30 m in front and to the side of the units. It has a large, fully equipped kitchen with a very spacious dining and breakfast room. The lounge and dining area comes fitted with wood-burning stoves for those chilly winter nights. The lounge has DStv with all the important channels. There is a braai pit with seating and awning, braai facilities. Other on-site facilities include a swimming pool, a braai area, a dedicated picnic area with seating, free Wi-Fi and secure parking.
