The reception was friendly and the breakfast was delicious. The general maintenance and condition of the facility leaves a lot to be desired, it is full as from days gone by with a little French color but the flavor is gone. Our family room was clean and tidy; the double bed was slept through and the night's rest was disturbing; in the bathroom it was worn; the shower head was gone, only a single, thick jet from the pipe; the faucets were swapped and from different manufacturers; the shower curtain was gone; the sink faucet leaked so much that you were too afraid to open it. The towels were stained, but at least clean and smelled of fabric softener. The general condition of the premises reminds one of dilapidation, the wooden door(s) were weathered, the buildings in a poor condition and it seems as if no one has been there for a long time or if the money for the maintenance ran out over time; this while the reception was friendly, warm and generous.

Restful. Uncle Kobis is very friendly and helpful, breakfast was delicious.

Terribly disappointing. Terribly full of spiders and cobwebs. Mouse droppings in the wardrobes and bedside tables. Big fridge but no freezer - in a town that gets 35°C or more. Refrigerator does not make cold. Exterior lights not working. No DStv although it is mentioned in ad. All the crockery and eating utensils had to be washed first due to dust. No sign or arrow indicating direction of Reception. Photos on the website were probably taken 20 years ago when there was still surveillance and control. No carports but ad says there is secure parking. No water in sink, no bath - only a shower without a shower curtain. No gate or fence from main road to chalet, some of the other guests locked their car with a chain to a brick pillar because there are no fences or gates. 1 small loose braaier to be shared between 24 families. Owner's 4 dogs barking all night. Ad says self-catering but there is only a toaster and a microwave. You can't find the resort on Waze or Maps because its correct name is Provence Wedding Venue which means you have to drive and ask because of a wrong name on the website. Even if Provence offers me a free stay between 3 hours and 3 years I will turn it down. We celebrated my 55th and my son's 20th birthday and it was terribly disappointing - something that really should have been special.

Nice location, but neglected. Owner is very friendly and nice, but the apartment was not cleaned recently. There were cobwebs everywhere and old bugs that hadn't been cleaned. Bedding was thankfully clean.
