Qambathi Mountain Lodge is a boutique lodge and nature reserve that offers bed and breakfast and is nestled in the heart of Kamberg Valley, Drakensberg, part of the beautiful Midlands Meander. Qambathi Mountain Lodge offers a magical atmosphere and a truly romantic setting, with superb cuisine surrounded by the Drakensberg mountains and valleys. Qambathi Lodge was home to Tom Cruise in 2022.
Accommodation at the lodge comprises 5 individually decorated suites. Each room features an en-suite bathroom and contains amenities such as electric blankets fitted on the beds, a hairdryer, a safe to store valuables, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. Each Garden Suite boasts a private deck with a hanging chair, overlooking the gardens and mountain.
A full breakfast is included and is served in the dining room, where a delectable 5-course dining experience is served each night at an additional fee with prior arrangement. Picnics can also be arranged for guests for an additional fee with prior arrangement. In addition, the lodge has free Wi-Fi Internet, a well-stocked bar and wine cellar, a social lounge, a swimming pool and deck area that offers panoramic views, a boma fire area, yoga and meditation classes, as well as space for intimate events to hire. An onsite spa with couples massages is also on offer.
For the adventurous, guests can explore the Qambathi indigenous forest trails, guided game walks, trout fishing tours, horse-riding trails, and many other exciting outdoor activities.
