Awesome Beach Holiday. Ramsgate Beach Club 1 is fantastic a lovely safe beach for families and totally pet friendly to, definitely my new holiday home.

The location was perfect as we wanted direct access to the beach. Whilst the accommodation had all we needed, the apartment was a little neglected. We could not get our vehicle into the garage as it was too small and none of the other people staying could park their cars either. The parking is extremely tight. The portable braai was broken so we could not set it up. We could not lock the security gate on the second flight of stairs and the safe would not lock. Several of the latches on the windows were broken as were a couple of the plastic chairs. Some of the cooking pans were dirty and as we did not have a scourer it was difficult to get them clean before we used them. A lot of paint was peeling off the walls. The braai facilities near the pool were great but the lights in this area were not all working so it was hard to see when braaing the meat in the evening. Also the lights at the pool were not working either. But the location directly to the beach was lovely and we had the beach mostly to ourselves which was awesome. This is just a heads up for the next people coming in.

Hi Sharl, Thanks for your feedback, and for staying with us. The unit was repainted in November, as well the whole complex, and the kitchen was revamped. The plastic chairs have been replaced, and the latches repaired. The security door and safe must be removed as they are not in use. We had another guest call us about the lights that did not work at the braai area, and we realized that the day/night switch was faulty which was repaired in December, possibly after you left. I am so sorry that some of the pans were dirty, I will take it up with our housekeeper. We have decided to delist this complex from our portfolio so it will no longer be available to rent, until such time that all snags are resolved for our future guests's comfort. regards, Mandy.

Very happy. Lovely stay! Pet friendly, nearby/walking distance to the beach. Very happy, highly recommend this spot.
