It was nice and cold but the fireplace worked overtime for sure. Lovely. Rangers Reserve has an incredibly beautiful location. We also had a nice 4x4 to the most beautiful place for sundowners.

Rest for the soul! We had an incredibly nice stay! Ideal place to totally break away for a weekend. Dead quiet scenery. Very beautiful and incredibly well equipped stone house on the hill. Have fun in the Karoo veld, under the stars barbecuing.

Unbelievable. The place is incredibly beautiful. There was everything you needed and more. Unfortunately, we were part of the storms that crippled the Western Cape this weekend. But Hilarie and her family were amazing and helped us get back on the tarmac safely. We will definitely visit the Rangers Reserve again. More than 5 stars. Thank you Hilarie and your family for going out of your way for us and other guests to make sure everyone is safe and sound. We will come again xxx.

Beautiful scenery. Very calm. Can walk around the farm.

Quiet, beautiful landscape, and nice visit. We had a very nice stay and were able to go for a walk to clear our heads. There are also routes that can be driven, definitely higher vehicles. All necessities are there and beyond that you can just relax.

Picture beautiful soul rest. No photos can truly capture the stunning beauty of the surroundings or the most exquisitely romantic accommodation. This is something you have to experience for yourself to appreciate. The friendliest hosts imaginable! We will definitely visit again.

Quiet and cold. The gas geyser is not enough for hot water if the sun is not shining, which in our case was all weekend. The batteries only last so long. I would definitely recommend a covered outdoor barbecue or an indoor barbecue for when it rains. The small fridge is a bit small for a family of 4 for a whole weekend. We had a wonderful stay, these are only recommendations.
