An absolute hidden gem for wild animal enthusiasts! We had an exceptional stay at Rapha Bushcamp; it is difficult to sum it up! Firstly, the tents are built beautifully and were extremely comfortable. We stayed in Rapha Petite and it exceeded our expectations. As mentioned in the description, you should bring your own equipment, and you are provided with a great tent, super comfy beds, a seating area where you can watch all the animals, a private bathroom (with hot water!), and a fireplace. There is also a shared natural pool, which we spent many hours in! The pool has a great view of the area, so we were able to sit in the pool and spot animals from there too. The area itself is unbelievable, with many different trails to explore and capture the animals in their natural environment. We were able to see giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, kudu, eland, as well as many beautiful birds and other small animals. We could never have expected that these animals would be roaming around near our camp (sometimes walking through it), and up the hills surrounding the camp. Of course, the animals were not extremely accustomed to humans, which added to the beauty of it, so it was amazing to sit in silence and watch them walk past. It is so rare to find a place like this in SA, where everything is fully functioning, the animals seem happy and free, and you are able to capture them right from your campsite. Elena has created an absolutely unbelievable bushcamp, and we have extremely fond memories from our stay. I cannot recommend this place enough! From all the safaris and bushcamps we have stayed in, this was by far the best (not to mention the value for money!).

Definitely the place to go for peace and quiet. Very peaceful and far from the maddening crowd. We enjoyed watching the giraffe so close to our accommodation.

I would love to stay there again. Rapha is a great place to stay! There were zebras literally right next to our tent. Nice hiking trails. Glamping at its best!

We had a fantastic weekend! Great place to catch up with good friends around the campfire within pristine natural surroundings with stunning wildlife. And a great location close to surrounding wine farms and restaurants.

Peaceful and beautiful. Totally relaxing in one of the most beautiful places. Not too far to travel from Cape Town, and once there, you feel like you're deep in the bushveld. The host is a lovely person who made us feel most welcome. Happy to help us out with a few items we had left at home.
