Red Mountain House complex is situated in the heart of the beautiful village of Clarens and the accommodation is on the first floor of the complex. Each room adjoins a balcony, the ideal place to sit and admire the views of the surrounding mountains or the vibe of the Clarens village square while enjoying a morning coffee or evening sun-downer.
The accommodation consists of 6 luxury double rooms furnished with turn of the century antiques, queen-size, extra-long, four-poster beds, fine Percale linen and Persian carpets. Each room has a sitting/TV area with an open fireplace and comfortable Morris chairs. Complimentary drinks and chocolates await your arrival. Fully tiled bathrooms are en suite with a shower, bath and wall heater. For guests' comfort, under tile heating takes the chill from cold winter nights while ceiling and room fans cool those balmy summer evenings.
Alternatively, the spacious luxury self-catering apartment offers a flexible option for 2 – 6 guests. A choice of either 1 or 2 en-suite bedrooms and a futon sleeper couch suitable for kids. A well-appointed kitchen, lounge, and dining area with a fireplace, 2 private balconies. Enjoy a braai on the private balcony while absorbing the breathtaking views of the Eastern Highlands and the Lesotho Mountain Kingdom.
