Retreat Guest Farm - Somerlus Cottage offers comfortable self-catering accommodation and is situated on a guest farm in Piket-Bo-Berg, approximately 150 km outside Cape Town.
This cottage can accommodate up to 6 guests in its 3 en-suite bedrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed and includes an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath and shower. The 2 other bedrooms contain 2 single beds each and both include an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower.
The cottage has a fully-equipped kitchen with cutlery and crockery, a dishwasher, 2 fridges, a gas hob, and an electric oven. The open-plan living area is connected to the kitchen and contains a dining table. The lounge offers lovely views of the dam and rock formations on the farm. Guests are required to bring their own DStv decoder and smart card for DStv access. The cottage features a covered verandah with braai facilities and outside seating areas. The outside braai is lovely on beautiful evenings and the indoor combustion oven warms up the whole living room in the winter. All firewood is provided during the stay.
There are numerous activities to be done on the farm, including fynbos walks, mountain biking, bass fishing, kayaking, swimming, and adventure biking.
