Description
Rhenosterpoort - Dassie Camp is located on a private game farm in the Waterberg Mountains, renowned for its natural beauty, game reserves, and wildlife. It offers the perfect getaway for those seeking a holiday away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
This rustic bush camp is located in a wooded valley, 200 meters from the river and a twenty-minute walk from a waterfall with a beautiful, refreshing rock pool. The camp accommodates 20 hikers and consists of 4 bedrooms with bunk beds and mattresses. No bedding is provided; please bring your own. The bathrooms have flush toilets, showers, and basins. There is a gas geyser for hot water.
The kitchen and braai area is spacious, with a covered area for inclement weather. There is a 2-plate gas cooker, but no fridge or cooking utensils. Please bring your own cooler boxes, ice, and utensils. There is no electricity, so please bring your own camp lights.
There are 2 marked hikes on the property (8 and 10 km, respectively), offering hikers the opportunity to see the many diverse veld types in the Waterberg.
