Rhodes Hotel is a historic landmark. The hotel is 300 meters from the Bell River. Guests can visit the well-known Marteen's Hoek Cave with a swimming pothole, the Boiling pot. The hotel prides itself on the well-stocked Wydeman Bar which is one of the oldest bars in the country. It is famous for its nostalgic food that is made from local produce.

The individual rooms are situated in the garden with paths leading to the main building. Each room has an en-suite bathroom and a private patio with mountain views. All rooms have electric blankets for the chilly evenings. Guests have access to secure parking, Wi-Fi, a cleaning service and a laundry service.
