Rietrylaagte Accommodation and 4x4 is located 5 km off the N7 on a dirt road, near the small farm community or Trawal. The accommodation makes for an ideal stopover while travelling between Cape Town and Namibia, or for those coming to view the flowers during spring.
Patrys comprises 2 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 4 guests. The main bedroom has a double bed and the second bedroom has 2 single beds. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and basin. Linen are supplied, but guests are required to bring their own towels. There is an air-conditioner and an alarm system in the house. The lounge has comfortable seating, and a large, built-in braai. The kitchen is equipped with everything guests will need for a carefree, self-catering stay. Guests are also treated to chocolates, coffee- and tea making facilities. The unit has a TV, as well as Wi-Fi.
Tarentaal comprises 2 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 4 guests. The main bedroom has a double bed and the second bedroom has 2 single beds. The bathroom has a bath, shower, toilet and basin. Linen are provided, but guests are required to bring their own towels. There are ceiling fans and air-conditioning in every room and an alarm system in the house. The kitchenette is equipped with everything needed for a carefree self-catering stay. The unit has a TV and Wi-Fi.
Kolgans comprises 3 bedrooms, a bathroom, and an open-plan kitchen and living area. Linen are provided, but guests are required to bring their own towels. The lounge area has comfortable couches and a TV with Netflix. The unit also offers free Wi-Fi connection, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The unit has an alarm system and a covered patio with braai facilities.
There is cell phone reception in certain areas on the farm to keep in touch with loved ones.
Experience farm life without sacrificing modern conveniences. Guests can also spot wildlife on the farm and enjoy the sounds of nature. However, there is no cell phone signal at the house, but you can make calls on the Wi-Fi.
Activities include admiring the flowers during blooming season, walking among the animals on the farm, 4x4- and mountain biking trails to enjoy. The farm also has ample opportunities for photographers to capture the landscapes, wildlife, sunsets and sunrises.
