Thanks for a good time. What can we say? It was 110% from the time we got there and our little dog had the time of her life with their 3 dogs. We will book again.

A lovely stay! My mum and I had a lovely overnight stay. Tracey welcomed us when we arrived and showed us to the accommodation. The room itself was spotless and Tracey has gone to a lot of trouble with the attractive decor. Everything we needed was there, including tea, coffee and sugar, and some milk in the fridge!

I'm sorry to hear of your frustrations based on the road and electricity concerns. I am exceptionally sad to also have received a 3.8 rating from you, but this is your opinion and we will try our best to make the experience better for others. However, for future folk reading your review, I would like to give context. You booked for 4 nights. You were unable to come for the first 2 nights as you were stuck in one of the biggest snowstorms KZN, South Africa has experienced in a very long time. The entire farming community from Nottingham to Lions River were affected by this, and we had no electricity for 10 days. We accommodated you to the best of our ability by turning on the generator numerous times so that your geyser would heat up and you could have electricity for a few hours of the day. We then offered you an additional night for free out of our goodwill as you were not able to get to us for 2 nights being stuck where you were. We live on a farm and have no control over the maintenance of our district road. This is stipulated in the description that we are based 3km out of the Lidgetton Village on a dirt road. Lastly, on your departure, I was very disappointed to come across that your husband had smoked within our rondavel. Unfortunately, this takes exceptional effort to eradicate the smell of cigarette from the room. Again, thank you for your honesty and review; we will make efforts to best fix it.
