Beautiful cottage on a beautiful farm! My stay at the cottage on Riverdene farm was wonderful! The cottage is large and spacious and has everything one needs for a comfortable stay. There are multiple scenic walks on the farm with beautiful views, and Nieu Bethesda is easily accessible from the farm. The hosts went out of their way to make me feel welcome.

Absolutely worth it. Fantastic facilities, wonderful people on the farm, and breathtaking views as only the Karoo can offer, highly recommend Riverdene!

Very good. Highly recommended. Kelly goes out of her way to accommodate. Would recommend adding 30 minutes extra to your planning to take a few stops on your journey. Some nice hiking trails and a lot to explore - more than 1 night is recommended.

Fabulous farm stay. Riverdene is a beautiful place, the lodge itself is decorated in a gorgeous minimalist style, suitable for the Karoo but with everything you need - including WiFi! The hosts are wonderful and friendly, and we would highly recommend it.

Place where peace and quiet meet. The wonder of Riverdene begins even before one arrives at the homestead. The farm road through the mountains offers some of the most beautiful views of the area. The cottage is spacious and comfortable, and one soon takes root on the veranda, thanks to the view it offers of the ridges in the distance. It was nice to walk to the pond and the river, which are very close to the unit. Another thing that was nice was to light a barbecue fire in the late afternoon and watch the sunset turn the Karoo in different shades.
