Lovely family home. Lovely family home! Cot and high chair available for my baby, and some puzzles and a book set that my 3-year-old enjoyed. Very cosy for winter, the wood-burning fireplace warms the whole house up nicely as the chimney goes through the main bedroom upstairs, which warms it right up. Wooden floorboards are a bit loud when you've got young children and you want to move around after they are in bed, but don't think that can be helped. The setup is private. The host lives on the property in a private flat, which is completely separate in that there is a separate entrance, but to note: it is part of the house, so there's what seems like a bedroom door opposite the bathroom that says private on it. Behind which is where the host stays. So although the door stays closed, it does feel like there is someone in the house with you as you can hear the occasional footsteps and shower, etc. Not a complaint but just think I would have liked to understand the setup prior to coming as you can't see this in the pictures. The bedroom with the deck that has stairs that go down into the garden, that is where the host stays. But she really was lovely and we absolutely loved the stay here. We would love to return and would highly recommend this stay for a family or even a couple or friends. The garden and brook behind it are fantastic; my toddler packed his Wellington boots and we all had loads of fun out there! Thank you for having us .

What a beautiful home and garden. Just a pity we could not stay longer. Very nicely situated. Hostess was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. She went the extra mile to keep us safe while the town had trouble. We will definitely visit again.
