Description
Riverside Manor is the ultimate luxury holiday living in a beautifully decorated mansion with panoramic views of the sun-drenched Overberg mountains and the peaceful surroundings of the Onrus River. It is located only a short drive from Hermanus Central.
The artistically designed home with a stunning garden offers plenty of spaces to relax and entertain, with views that draw attention from anywhere in the house, inspiring rest, revitalization, and reflection. A jetty on the river banks enables water enthusiasts access to go paddle boarding and kayaking.
This house has a sleeping capacity of 10 guests and comprises 5 tastefully furnished bedrooms with 5 bathrooms. The main bedroom is situated on the first floor and is furnished with a king-size bed. It has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a large shower, a walk-through dressing area, a basin, and a toilet. The second bedroom is also situated on the first floor and is furnished with a king-size bed. It has an en-suite bathroom with a shower-over-bath, basin, and toilet. Both bedrooms share a private TV lounge and desk space ideal for work-from-home and boast access to a balcony overlooking the lush greenery of the Onrus River lagoon, indigenous forestry, and the swimming pool below.
Downstairs, guests can find the rest of the bedrooms. The third bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, basin, and toilet. It boasts access to the patio below with views of the courtyard garden, fire pit, and outdoor dining area. Adjoining the third bedroom is another TV lounge with a large flat-screen TV, perfect for kids' entertainment. The fourth bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, basin, and toilet, while the fifth bedroom has twin beds. An adjoining guest bathroom fitted with a shower, basin, and toilet is available to guests of the fifth bedroom. Crisp linen and towels are provided.
The open-plan living area includes an idyllic open-plan kitchen, fully equipped with a fridge-freezer, gas stove, oven, air-fryer, microwave, cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. In a separate scullery are a dishwasher, washing machine, and tumble dryer for guests’ convenience. It leads to a dining area, with a 10-seater dining table and chairs, and further expands to the third TV lounge with comfy seating space and a fireplace, all connected to large sundeck areas.
The courtyard deck features a portable gas braai, a table tennis table, an undercover al fresco dining table, and an outdoor seating area. The fire pit is the cherry on the cake. On the riverside, there is another outdoor seating area and deck embracing the lovely saltwater pool, providing sundowner entertainment with exotic views of the river and mountains. The jetty can be reached with only a couple of steps down the decking pathway.
Guests are afforded safe and secure parking on the premises, and Wi-Fi is available throughout the house.
The house is ideally located within walking distance of Onrus Beach, various coffee shops, and restaurants. Onrus is excellent for walking along coastal paths and perfect for nature lovers.
