House Rules
Cleaning is available at a cost.
Quiet times are from 21:00 till 09:00 and loud music is not allowed.
Visitors will have to be arranged with the host at a fee.Above apply to all our units.
The rest of our house rules apply to the shared areas which is mostly only the outside areas for The Poolview unit and The Poolhouse unit.The full set of rules apply for the the single rooms which share a bathroom and kitchen area.
From our experience, guests enjoy the space and each other when the rules are adhered to as everyone feels comfortable in the space when there is common understanding. Keep in mind that this is a shared space. We expect guests to respect each other's space, property, and privacy. Be mindful that should you have unclean habits it will affect your fellow guests. Unpleasant circumstances will be addressed. Should your room be in a state that affects the rest of the guests or causes the deterioration of the space you will be expected to comply with the upkeep or a cleaning will be arranged for your payment.
Common spaces need to be maintained by guests. Please respect that these spaces are for everyone's use. Keep the kitchen neat and tidy, and please clean up after using the spaces also the bathroom. We will regularly do extra cleaning in the bathroom.
Access to a braai is available on request.
South Africa is a water-scarce country and we urge guests to save water wherever possible. Charges may apply for excessive usage.
During quiet times visitors are also not welcome as the common areas are shared and most people retire at this time for showering etc.
We do not allow electrical equipment other than what we provide.
The washing machine is an extra service when available and use should be negotiated and paid before you depart.
Smoking inside is not allowed.
Please be mindful of the linen, when linen is stained no other guest will use it as it presents as dirty linen and can't be used. Do not leave open or leaking products on the bed as this often causes stains. Hair products rub off on pillowcases and do not use towels to dry your hair after it has been coloured as it stains. Any stained linen including towels to be refunded or replaced. Should you have any medical conditions please take applicable precautions as any soiled bedding and mattresses will be charged.
Excessive use of alcohol is not allowed.
