Had a fantastic stay. Silence, open spaces, good birding, clean and well thought through and functional amenities. Were blessed with perfect weather. Hiked for miles on end, spotted some game and many more spoors. Though no marked hiking trails, entire farm to explore on foot with enough farm tracks and Koppies to discover. Wonderful! Quiet, secluded, delicious Karoo experience! It was great to be without a signal - the WiFi at home is enough to keep in touch if you want, but other than that you can just rest. The Karoo has always been beautiful to us and it was wonderful to stay in the middle of nowhere.
