Sandford Park Country Hotel offers bed and breakfast and is situated within 4 km from central Bergville. The historic hotel dates back to 1850, where it started its life as a coach house offering food and shelter for pioneers carving a road between KwaZulu-Natal and the Transvaal.
Overlooking the Drakensberg Mountains, Sandford Park Country Hotel is set amid manicured lawns and rose gardens. Accommodation comprises 22 spacious rooms, each with an en-suite bathroom, a TV, a work desk, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. Some of the rooms have views of the mountains, the lake, the garden, or the surrounding area.
The hotel’s country-style restaurant serves a rich breakfast buffet with a selection of cereals, fruit salads, pastries, and fruit juices. A variety of South African and continental dishes can be ordered for dinner, or guests can order from an á la carte menu for afternoon lunches as well.
