Beautiful area and would recommend SANParks Lower Sabie Rest Camp. Take a trip to Sunset Dam. The rondavel had more to it than we initially thought. Extra blankets, towels and soap are provided. Beautiful area.

Excellent location and more facilities than expected. Our stay was fantastic. After staying at other camps, we were surprised to find a toaster, kettle, cutlery and crockery in the basic unit. Uncomfortable in camp and lekker out of it. They have a serious bat issue, the whole place stinks of bat poo and urine and it is everywhere. You cannot leave anything uncovered because of the bats. The smell is unbearable and they are out of control with the bats. The only time you can enjoy is driving round the park and sightseeing. You have to disinfect everything when you get home.
