The splitter unit in the bedroom is faulty and the cabling must be redone (falls apart). The outside grill needs attention and a good cleaning. Comfortable, but could do a lot better, especially considering the rate charged. The apartment has a stunning view and most of the apartment is tastefully decorated. The complex is perfectly situated within walking distance to the beach. The stay was fairly comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you would need in a home and much more. Unfortunately, there were a few issues. The blinds in all rooms were not functional. The blinds in the main bedroom were broken and no care taken to remove the broken blinds prior to our arrival. The apartment, especially the main bedroom, had a lot of dust. The apartment was not aired out prior to our arrival, and as such, the first night stay was not comfortable. The main bedroom has an old carpet that was not cleaned, and as it is next to the bathroom, a lot of the carpet is damp. There is a massive old dresser in the main bedroom that takes up a lot of space and should be removed. The garage door was broken; however, we were quickly assisted with the same. The complex is fairly difficult to find. The address says 104 Marine Drive; however, the complex is actually on 99 Marine Drive.

It was nice, but there were a few faults which we reported to the owner. The flat is very nicely decorated, but the area (Margate)is not very safe or clean. Margate has gone down and I would not walk around there on my own at all! The beaches are dirty and the streets even worse.
