Good experience, unique, but only for a short stay. The last time I slept on a train was in the late 70s, so I knew what to expect. We wanted this nostalgic experience again, so we opted for this accommodation. It was one night only, to be closer to the airport for an early flight. I knew that to get dressed might result in an elbow or knee fight, and that the walls are paper thin, so you can easily follow the drunken fight of the neighbouring couple. The staff was friendly to keep our meat in the freezer for a short while and to give us a parcel of food, as we left too early for breakfast. Really accommodating and efficient. Just some suggestions: inform guests where they can park and of the availability of WiFi; don't mention that all rooms have a sea view if not so; indicate smoking areas; maybe use Q20 on the doors and windows as they are difficult to move; and what to do with the keys if you leave early before staff arrive. I can now say, been there, done that, got the t-shirt. Good for a one-night stay, but nope for longer.

Very pleasant stay. Santos Express was perfect for what I needed - just a room to sleep for a couple of nights. Simple, clean and safe. Pleasantly surprised by the breakfast as well. Did not expect much for the price we paid, but it was more than adequate.

Such a wonderful place to stay. On our way down to Cape Town, we stayed over at Santos Express. We loved the place. The staff are friendly and helpful. On our way back from Cape Town, we stayed again at Santos Express. This is how much we loved the place.

Breathtaking. We really enjoyed it, the lady who took us to the unit and helped us was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was lovely. We will definitely be back.
