Description

Saxon Lodge is a guest house situated in Gansbaai, in the south Western Cape, a short, beautiful, two-hour drive from Cape Town and Cape Town International Airport and an hour from L’Agulhas, the southern-most tip of Africa. This makes Saxon Lodge a great central point for exploring the Cape Overberg and its natural bounty.

With almost all of the conveniences of modern day life, Saxon lodge offers you a real 'home-away-from-home' experience, with 9 luxury en-suite rooms to choose from. We have double and twin rooms and 1 family room for families or groups travelling together. Our garden and deck are great spaces to kick back and unwind with a view over Walker Bay.

Guests are welcome to book all the rooms together for exclusive use of the lodge.

Other facilities include a swimming pool, a central lounge with TV and DStv, free Wi-Fi, business facilities, on-site parking and same day laundry service. It is commonplace to see the Southern Right Whales frolicking in the bay during their season here and the sunsets are something to behold! The private, well-stocked residents’ bar, The Saxon Arms, provides privacy and exclusivity for guests to enjoy and share their experiences and space with each other.

The owners have a cat on the property.
