Sea Shack offers a unique eco-glamping experience, living in and with nature right at the water's edge. There are 11 pretty shacks set on a picture-perfect bay in the Cape Columbine Nature Reserve. Here, the birds are your wake-up call and the ocean your lullaby. The price includes multiple entries to the Cape Columbine Nature Reserve.
Each charming little sea shack has been designed to accommodate 2 guests within an idyllic and tranquil setting. All come standard with superior Cloud 9 mattresses and lovely linen. Each shack is personalized according to its own theme. Of these, 8 are furnished with queen-size beds and 2 are furnished with twin beds.
There are 4 ‘kleinhuises’ that are shared by guests, each containing a gas-heated shower and an eco-toilet.
There is a communal boma with a well-equipped kitchen and scullery that features a fridge, gas stoves, cutlery, crockery and cookware. Powered by solar and gas, Sea Shack provides an off-the-grid experience. Although there are no hairdryers, mobile cell charging and reception are available. Join in around the fire pit at night to cook and ‘kuier’. Sea Shack does its best to provide everything essential to make guests stay comfortable.
Sea Shack is located close to the charming fishing village of Paternoster, only 5 km away. Beaches, bird-watching, hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, horse-riding, and dune buggy guided tours are all within reach.
