Sedgefield Lodge is situated in a secure private estate in Emalahleni, on the banks of the Witbank Dam. The estate is home to game, including a variety of buck, zebra and wildebeest. The property is ideally located right on the dam, where guests can enjoy private waterfrontage and lovely views.
Accommodation is provided in 2-sleeper units and the Boathouse can accommodate 6 adults and 2 children on a sleeper couch.
The 2-bedroom unit accommodates 4 adults. The first bedroom contains a king-size bed and the second bedroom contains a double bed, a bed for a child and a child-only mattress. The main bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower. This bathroom is shared between the 2 bedrooms. There is also a small kitchenette off the bedroom, equipped with a 2-plate stove, a microwave, a fridge and a breakfast bar with 2 stools.
The Boathousecomprises 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 lounge areas, a dining area and a well-equipped kitchen.
The first lounge area has a sleeper couch and views over the water. The second lounge is furnished with comfortable seating and has a TV. The dining area has an 8-seater dining room table. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, an oven, a fridge-freezer, a kettle, crockery and cutlery.
Guests can make use of the outside communal built-in braai area and 10-seater table. The dam is a fisherman’s paradise, with an abundance of carp, bass and barbel. There is a very little traffic on the dam, making it ideal for water sports. Guests can enjoy many walking and cycling routes from the property.
