Sedgies on the Water offers comfortable self-catering accommodation in a beautiful waterfront property situated in Sedgefield. This 4-bedroom home overlooks the Sedgefield estuary, and is within walking distance to a beautiful unspoilt beach.
The ground floor accommodation has 3 double bedrooms plus a larger family room which sleeps 2 parents plus 2 children, or 4 children. 3 of the bedrooms are en suite. The Lake room contains a queen-size bed and full ensuite bathroom and access to the deck. The Lagoon room has a king-size bed or twin single beds, shares the bathroom with the Lake room and has access to the deck. The Sunset room has a king bed or twin single beds, and an ensuite shower, basin and toilet, lovely afternoon light and a glimpse of the water. The Garden family room has a king bed, and a single bed with a pull out single bed, an en suite shower, basin and toilet, and is perfect for a family with small children. This room can also be a children's room with 4 single beds, and plenty of space to play. It has direct access to the garden.
The fully equipped open-plan kitchen, with a dishwasher, is integrated with a spacious living, dining and TV area. Wireless internet is available throughout the house.
Guests have access to covered parking for 1 car, and there is extra parking space available. The house is serviced twice a week, and supplementary cleaning services and laundry facilities are available by arrangement.
Guests can relax and enjoy the beautiful views from lovely viewing decks, equipped with braai facilities. Guests can enjoy the view of the waters below, the boats floating by and the Sedgefield hills in the distance. There is a private path down to the water, and guests have the use of canoes to enjoy on the water.
The lagoon offers safe swimming for young children, the beach walks are fantastic and the fishing is recommended. The house is centrally located for those wishing to explore the Garden Route and all it has to offer. This is the ideal setting for a family holiday.
