Beautiful and serene place. Piece of heaven. Best experience. Friendliest host, beautiful place and we absolutely loved the Alpacas. It was just a stopover on our way home; wish we could stay longer! Highly recommend.

Fantastic. Was definitely home away from home. Immaculate. We would have loved to extend our stay. Very comfortable and the host was fantastic.

Definitely our best getaway ever! Area: 10/10! Host: 10/10! Accommodation: 10/10! Shelly communicated with us before we even left JHB, went to great lengths to make us feel at home and truly cares about getting to know her guests. She and Nellie allowed us to feed the alpacas with them a few times (Carol and Monet are by far my favourites, but they are all so lovely). You can absolutely see how much love and effort Shelly puts into her guesthouse and animals, and there was nothing we needed! Serenity Alpaca is on top of a hill from where you can see almost the entire Midlands and the Midmar Dam. By far one of the most beautiful views in South Africa. This long weekend felt like a holiday where we went to visit family. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway and who loves animals.

Shelly het met ons kommunikeer voordat ons al uit JHB gery het, het soveel moeite gedoen om ons tuis te laat voel en gee werklik om om haar gaste te leer ken. Sy en Nellie het ons 'n paar keer toegelaat om die alpacas saam met hulle te voer (Carol en Monet is by ver my gunstelinge, maar hulle is almal so dierbaar). Jy kan absoluut sien hoe baie liefde en moeite Shelly aan haar gastehuis en diere toewy, en daar was niks wat ons nodig gehad het nie!
